Two parking bans were declared in Saint John over the weekend after snow, high winds, and cold temperatures hit southeastern New Brunswick.
The City of Saint John declared a temporary overnight on-street parking ban on Saturday for the south/central peninsula.
It went from 11 p.m. Saturday and ran until 7 a.m. Sunday.
A spokesperson for the city said 86 tickets were issued and 30 vehicles were towed throughout Saturday night.
As well, another 86 tickets were issued during Friday night’s parking ban in the city’s north, east, and west areas.
In total, 172 tickets were issued during both bans.
