On Monday, New Brunswick Public Health reported 40 new cases of COVID-19, one virus-related death, and 75 recoveries.
A person in their 80s from the Campbellton region has died.
There are nine new cases in the Saint John health zone, 14 in the Moncton region, two in the Fredericton area, three in the Edmundston region, and 12 in the Miramichi area.
The active caseload for the province stands at 470, while in the Saint John zone there are 120 active cases, and 184 active cases in the Moncton region.
24 people are being treated in the hospital, with 14 needing an ICU.
85.2 per cent of eligible New Brunswickers are fully vaccinated against COVID-19 and 92.7 per cent have received their first dose of a vaccine.
