On Saturday, Sept. 25, at approximately 1:06 a.m., the Saint John Police Force responded to reports of an impaired driver in the Uptown area.
It was reported the driver was travelling at a high rate of speed, went through stop signs, and struck a parked vehicle in a parking lot.
As a result, a 78-year-old man, who is on parole is facing an impaired driving charge.
The man will appear in court at a later date.
