Country 94 is in the running for our very first Canadian Country Music Award.
The Canadian Country Music Association (CCMA) unveiled the nominations Wednesday night.
We are one of five stations nominated for radio station of the year in a small or medium market.
The other stations include CHCQ-FM in Belleville, Ont., CICX-FM in Orillia, Ont., CILG-FM in Moose Jaw, Sask., and CKGY-FM in Red Deer, Alta.
Also up for an award is our program director, Mike Sadavoy, who has been nominated for music director of the year in a small or medium market.
The winners will be announced at the 2021 CCMA Awards in London, Ont., on Nov. 29.
