Saint John police say a 34-year-old man has been taken into custody on four outstanding arrest warrants.
Police said officers executed a “high-risk warrant” at a Main Street North residence just after 8 p.m. Friday.
The force’s Emergency Tactical Service, Major Crime Unit, Street Crime Unit, and Patrol Services were involved.
Earlier in the evening, police had asked residents to avoid a section of Main Street North and told others to stay inside due to a “police operation.”
Police said Terrance Keleher is expected to appear in court on Saturday.
SJPF operation on Main Street North has concluded. One man has been arrested. A news release will follow.
