Hall Bros. Enterprises Ltd., is set for the grand reopening of its new Norton facility this Saturday, after its previous location was destroyed in a fire February, 2019.
“Everything changed in a big hurry and we were very fortunate to have a building to move into, and we’ve been very fortunate that since then business has been very good,” said Russell Hall, Hall Bros.’ General Manager. He added the new location is much bigger and brighter.
There was never any doubt about keeping the business in Norton. “This is where I’ve grown up, and business has been good to us here, so there was no question whatsoever when the fire happened that this is where we’re going to be,” he said. He said that it was emotional getting back on their feet and rebuilding.
Moving forward during the pandemic was also a challenge, but the five-week construction delay allowed them to focus on other matters. Having the building materials ready to go was another advantage for Hall Bros Enterprises. Hall said if they tried to build the facility now, they would be tied up waiting for materials.
Hall Bros. Enterprises specializes in tractor and agriculture machinery and been in business for 71 years.
“People come here, there’s a lot more to it than ‘if you build it, they will come’ – it’s giving good service and dealing with people, dealing honestly,” he said. “Part of it is that that country atmosphere, they just love dealing with us.”
