It comes as no surprise that parents have a lot of concerns as they prepare to send their kids back to school.
Field Agent Canada recently conducted a survey of more than 300 moms across the country.
Spokesperson Jeff Doucette says moms want to know what school is going to look like.
“They’re worried about class sizes… whether classes will be split… and how much time kids will spend learning at home as opposed to the classroom.”
Doucette says moms are concerned about having personal protective equipment for their kids – such as masks or hand sanitizer – and whether or not they’ll have to supply their own.
When it comes to back to school shopping, he believes retailers also have a role to play in helping parents understand the uncertainty of the school year.
Doucette adds both big box retailers and mom-and-pop stores can help them navigate what is needed locally to head back to class.
