Wednesday marks the two-year anniversary of the disappearance of Brayden Thibault.
Thibault, from St. Stephen, was last seen on Gibson Street in Fredericton on July 31, 2017.
Police have long considered his disappearance suspicious and suspected foul play was involved. But earlier this week, the RCMP announced they now believe Thibault was the victim of a homicide.
In a video appeal in early 2018, Amanda Frigault, Thibault’s mother, said she is scared she will never find him.
Frigault said she feels “incredibly helpless” knowing she cannot take away the fears of his family and friends or give them answers.
“I’ve watched my children lose their innocence when I had to tell them that Brayden just wasn’t away somewhere and I’ve held the broken hearts of the people he loved most,” said Frigault.
