Paramedics, firefighters and police officers in the Kennebecasis Valley will roll up their sleeves on Wednesday in a friendly competition to help save more lives.
The annual Sirens for Life blood donor clinic is coming up at the qplex.
The winners are the first responders who collect the most donations with this year’s goal to collect 58 units of blood.

One person seriously injured in a car crash could need as many as 50 blood donations to help save their life.
The special clinic runs on Wednesday from 4:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. at the qplex, 20 Randy Jones Way in Quispamsis, NB.
