The Town of Hampton is looking for your feedback as it launches a review of its municipal plan.
It is a long-term document which lays out how they want the town to progress and grow.
Carolyn Walker, the town’s planning and development officer, says they have to review the plan every 10 years.
“We’re just kind of taking a look at it and seeing if things still apply and if it’s still the direction we want to go and doing some tweaks here and there,” said Walker.

An online survey is up on the town’s website and is also available in paper format at the town office. The town also plans on holding a public open house in late May.
Walker said the consultants they have hired will take the input and compare it with the current plan.
“If tweaks have to be made then the consultant would look after that,” she said. “We will send it to council for approval and then to the province.”
Walker said the last municipal plan in 2010 was fairly well done and she does not expect any major changes to it.
