Saint John business owner Brad Mitchell is giving municipal politics a try, running in this spring’s by-election.
The vacancy was created when Gerry Lowe was elected provincially last September.
We asked Mitchell about his approach to running in a by-election where you don’t tend to see high voter turnout.
He tells us he plans to knock on a lot of doors.
“I know a lot of people in the riding so I’ll just ask them to get out and get two of their friends out and two of their friends out.
It’s no question a by-election with no really big hot topic will be a challenge.” Mitchell says.
The Saint John by-election is coming up on May 6th.
