A 20-year old Moncton man is facing a second degree murder charge related to the death of a fellow inmate at the Southeast Regional Correctional Centre in Shediac.
Michael Fallon is charged in the death of 33-year old Michael Adam Matchett, who died in hospital November 3rd because of injuries sustained during an assault alleged to have taken place at the jail on October 26th.
Fallon is also charged with assault a member of the provincial RCMP at the jail Wednesday.
Fallon will remain in custody until his next court appearance November 22nd.
