37,000 homes and business remain without power, that number down from 51,000 at 5 o’clock this morning.
NB Power tells us about 200 crews are spread out throughout the province assessing damage and working to get the lights back on as soon as possible.
They encourage customers to check out the outage information and preliminary restoration estimates which are available for most areas on the NB Power website.
The outages are caused mainly because of trees hitting power lines but there are reports of some broken cross arms, poles and down power lines.
NB Power has asked for help and they expect more crews will assist when they are available.
