Opportunities New Brunswick has signed more agreements with companies so far this year, compared to the previous year.
In the first quarter of 2018, ONB signed agreements worth $21.5 million with 77 different organizations.
By comparison, in the first quarter of last year, the organization signed deals worth a little over $3 million with 84 different companies.
Throughout the entire last fiscal year, ONB signed agreements worth $53 million.
Since April 2015, the organization claims they have signed commitments to create 9,444 jobs, with 4,977 created so far.
ONB support can take several forms, including payroll rebates, and loans.
