Southern New Brunswick can now breathe a collective sigh of relief.
Water levels in most parts of the St. John River are now below flood stage including in Quispamsis-Saint John where we’re sitting at 3.93 metres. Flood stage is 4.2 metres.
The only sections of the river now over flood stage are Jemseg and Sheffield Lakeville Corner. Grand Lake has just barely made it below flood stage, however — it’s at 4.98 metres and flood stage for that area is 5 metres.
