If you are planning to hit the reset button on fitness this fall, a new 25,000 square foot gym in East Saint John may be just what you need.
To make sure for a brand new facility opening on Friday morning in McAllister Place, the GoodLife location in Parkway Mall will close.
Club Manager Ashley Mathias tells us they will have more space for group fitness class and it will include a Turf Zone.
She tells us a Turf Zone is a space with artificial grass that allows people to use small equipment.
We asked Mathias if converting a former Target store into a gym was challenging.
She says Party City and H&M had already taken up some of the space and what was left was perfect for them providing a big open space.
Work renovating the space began four months ago.
The founder of Goodlife Fitness, David “Patch” Patchell-Evans will be on hand for a ribbon cutting on Thursday night as part of the grand opening celebrations from 5 to 8pm at the new McAllister Place location.
