After 32 years in teaching, including 11 at Lakefield, Ripley is looking forward to the next chapter but admits it will be strange to not be at school this September.
Shannon Golding-Naves of the Lakefield Elementary Home and School group helped put the surprise together and tells us he’s out there every single morning welcoming the kids.
She says he’s phenomenal adding he knows every kid by their first name and last name.
