Riverview teen Rebecca Schofield is again being recognized. This time, it was by Senator Nancy Hartling.
During the Senators statements in Ottawa, last week, Hartling shared Becca’s story with the other Senators..and how her #Beccatoldmeto has spread around the world, “Rebecca encouraged people to complete acts of kindness and to post them on social media. Scrolling through the online posts, you will find testimonies of people buying strangers coffee, paying for gas, shovelling their neighbours driveway, or donating time and money to local charities. There are people from countries across the globe doing acts of kindness in Becca’s name.”
Hartling encouraged her fellow Senators to perform an act of kindness and to post it on social media with the #Beccatoldmeto.
