Railway enthusiasts from across Atlantic Canada want to ensure our railroad history is preserved.
Members of the New Brunswick Railway Museum are always interested in talking to anyone who might have railway memorabilia.
Roland Gaudet is a member of the local Model Railroad Society and he says sometimes railway artifacts just end up being thrown away.
“You hear the stories where people have to move out for one reason or another, they have to downsize, and history is lost,” says Gaudet. “If you have something that you don’t know what it is, or you may like to find a home for it, talk to these gentlemen.”
Gaudet says even if you just want to find out more about the piece of railway memorabilia you have, contact the New Brunswick Railway Museum, and they’ll be happy to talk to you.
