The Saint John Regional Hospital Foundation has launched its 10th Hospital Home Lottery event, with this year's grand prize being a home $985,000 home in Quispamsis plus a $100,000 thousand-dollar cash prize.

The home is two storeys, 3500 square feet, located in a brand new development in Quispamsis off of the Pettingill Road at 11 Heritage Way. It's four bedrooms, four bathrooms, features an outdoor pool, and was built by A.E. McKay Builders.

President and CEO of the Saint John Hospital Foundation Jeff McAloon spoke with CHSJ News about the launch of the lottery. He says that their loterry program provides undesignated funds so there isn't a specific project this is going to support.

"Other than supporting areas of care at our hospital, which include the heart centre, our oncology program, our mental health funding right across the province," says McAloon.

"We're the largest tertiary care, the only level one trauma centre in the province so to have those undesignated funds at our avail is incredibly, incredibly powerful for our board.

Those who buy tickets early are eligible to win two Bahamas Bonus prizes, or $5000 cash, while the Early Bird Prize Package is a 2018 Chevrolet Silverado and a 2018 Salem Cruise Lite travel trailer or $75,000 cash.

You can buy tickets for $100 each, a three pack is $250, a five pack is $375 and what's called a super pack for $500. You can buy the tickets by going to www.nbhospitalhomelottery.com.
