The MP for Saint John-Rothesay has been getting an earful of late about the Trudeau government's proposed tax changes and the impact they could have on small business owners.
Wayne Long has held attended information sessions and now says he is taking a stand.
Long says it's crystal clear to him being not only an MP but a former small business owner that he can't support these proposed changes.
Long says he knowns his constituents have their concerns and he is also concerned it could have an impact on the health care system with many doctors leaving, so he is taking a stand and will vote against the changes as they are now.
CHSJ News asked Long if he was prepared to face the consequences of voting against the party line such as a possible removal from caucus?
Long said he loves his party and he will cross that bridge when he comes to it.
