More Than $37 million For Climate Change From Provincial Plan

The Executive Director of the New Brunswick Conservation Council doesn't think the provincial government's plan on climate change goes far enough to satisfy the Trudeau Government.

Lois Corbett says diverting a portion of the gas tax will only free up something like 37 million dollars but she claims that's not enough money to offer incentives for the rest of us to become more energy efficient.

Corbett says by toeing the status quo, the government has missed its goal of helping New Brunswick transition to a low-carbon economy and create jobs.
