A weekend fire has caused extensive damage to a home near Woodstock and left a family homeless.
Fire crews were called to a two-storey home in Richmond Corner around 6 p.m. Saturday.
A family of five lived there but the man, woman, and three children were away when the fire broke out.
Fire officials say the fire started in the basement but caused extensive smoke and water damage throughout the home.
