All schools are closed today in the Anglophone South School District from Sussex to St. Stephen.
Schools in the Francophone South School District are also closed today with the exception of Fredericton and Oromocto.
The New Brunswick Community College in Saint John is closed for the day.
Classes at the Community College campus in Saint Andrews are cancelled for the day but the building will remain open.
It has felt a little more like April than February of late but that’s going to change big time with a major dump of snow today through tonight. Environment Canada has issued a winter storm warning for Saint John and a snowfall warning for St. Stephen.
Forecaster Ian Hubbard of Environment Canada says we could see anywhere from 15 to 20 centimetres of snow during the day and then another 10 to 15 centimeters tonight before ending around midnight.
The snow is expected to start this morning but the brunt of the storm will be felt starting this afternoon with stronger winds tonight.
Accuweather is forecasting from 20 to 35 centimeters. Weather Underground is predicting 30 plus centimeters and the Weather Network from 25 to 35.
The morning flights from and to Toronto and Montreal have been cancelled as well as the late afternoon flight from and to Montreal.
