In the NHL playoffs,  Mika Zibanejad scored at 14:22 of overtime to give the New York Rangers a 3-2 victory over the Montreal Canadiens and a 3 games to 2 lead in their first round series.....Pittsburgh eliminated Columbus with a 5-2 win as former Leaf Phil Kessell scores a goal and has two assists....A first round shocker as Nashville scores 3 goals in the third period for a 4-1 win over Chicago to eliminate the Blackhawks in four straight.....David Desharnais scored in overtime to give Edmonton a 4-3 win over San Jose and 3 games to 2 lead.

The Saint John Sea Dogs open up their "Q" League semifinal tonight against Chicoutimi starting at 7. Game two goes tomorrow night at Harbour Station at 7.

In the Majors, Chris Sale struck out 13 over eight shutout innings and Mookie Betts hit a three run double in the 10th as the Boston Red Sox took the Toronto Blue Jays 4-1. In the NBA playoffs, the Toronto Raptors fell to Milwaukee 104-77 with the Bucks now leading the series 2 games to 1......LeBron James finished with 41 points, 13 rebounds and 12 assists with Cleveland setting an NBA playoff record by coming back from a 25 point halftime deficit to beat Indiana 119-111. Memphis leads San Antonio 2 games to 1 after winning 105-94.
