15 workers are being treated in hospital after a chemical spill at a mill in Maine.
The Calais Regional Hospital has activated its emergency response plan to deal with the chemical exposure from the incident in Baileyville.
Officials say the workers from the Woodland mill are currently considered to be stable.
At this time, the Calais Hospital is not suspending patient care, however, non-emergencies may be diverted elsewhere for care.
The spill happened around noon today and the chemical is believed to be chlorine dioxide, which is commonly used for pulp bleaching.
