The first parking ban of the year to allow for snow removal resulted in 111 tickets being issued by the City of Saint John Parking Commission.
All vehicles had to be off the street in the south end between 11pm and 7am or face being ticketed, towed or both.
They were allowed to park in designated lots until 7am as well.
When our newsroom called Saint John Police this morning we were told less than a dozen tickets had been issued.
