You are being advised to avoid a few road north of Saint John because of high water levels along the St. John River.

Route 690 in Lakeville Corner is closed as well as Ferry Road in Jemseg.  Highway 105 between Maugerville and Jemseg is partially covered by water at several locations. Route 105 at Medford, between the Tobique First Nation and Drummond, remains closed to traffic.

Water levels on the St. John River will remain high for the coming days as Environment and Climate Change Canada is forecasting more rain until Wednesday with up to 35 millimeters of rain in the upper part of the St. John River basin and as much as 30 millimeters in the lower part of the basin.
